I found it really pleasing to see so many folk watching & listening to the documentary. In addition to a free BBQ; wine ,whisky & beer flowed freely throughout the event (but I think we all abstained from the alcohol). During the afternoon members were frequently questioned about what we did, about Tranquility our wild west town etc. Many of the audience seemed to have connections with the North East in one way or another & we handed out many of our contact cards with club details. Towards the close of the exhibition we were invited to put on a show for the audience which possibly peaked at over 200. We performed “Henry & the Gunfighters”. The audience was delighted. There were roars of laughter at all the right places. One wee girl came up to me afterwards & asked “How do you make your gun work like that” ( I think she might have been about 7/8 yrs old). I told her the important thing to remember was to always keep your gun clean & she walked away satisfied.
