Katri Walker is a cross-disciplinary Glasgow-based visual artist.

Katri is currently creating new work for a solo exhibition at SWG3, in Glasgow Scotland opening on the 11th of September 2009.

From October to December 2009, Katri is producing a temporary site-specific project, Hecho En Casa, in Mexico City showcasing emerging Glasgow-based and Mexico City-based artists.

Katri will have work in a group show curated by Leslie Moody Castro at Women and and their Work in Austin, Texas, opening on the 19th of November 2009.

In December 2008, Katri completed a residency at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts [PICA] in Western Australia where she created new work, developed through dialogue with curator Amy Sales, around the multi-referential symbolism of the black swan in contemporary Australian culture. The outcome of the residency was a solo exhibition curated by Sales which was open from December 17th 2008 to January 18th 2009. View the work here.
